Oh what a day for us!
Emma had a volleyball game against Dixie High School. It was so thrilling to watch her play so well. She gave it her all, even ramming into another girl and getting a bloody nose. It was pure panic for her team as they subbed her out so Emma and I could run at top speed to the bathroom to try to stem the bleeding. The team dropped three straight points without Emma. We rushed back into the gym and her coach sighed with relief and subbed her right back in! They ended up crushing Dixie, and Emma was fantastic!
Then we all went into the other gym and waited for Brynn and Dixie's varsity to play against our Varsity. I was wearing my black Thunder t-shirt, and Sunee had on her blue Dixie t-shirt, but we sat side by side, and without looking too obvious (on my part), we cheered our hearts out for Dixie. And they WON! Brynn played such a great game and Dixie beat Desert Hills for the first time in many years. They won it in three sets too. It was a perfect day for our family. And we are super glad that Emma and Brynn don't play against each other. Ha Ha! At least that's what Brynn said after watching Emma's killer serves in the sophomore game. :)
