We had a lovely Sunday. We were able to attend the Utah South Regional Broadcast. The talks were wonderful and inspiring. We were encouraged to study the Book of Mormon, to focus on "mighty" prayer in our lives, and to work on the virtues of Humility, Obedience, and Virtue. I felt uplifted and inspired---even if my knees could hardly bend from my run the day before.
We all took a long, dreamy nap. (Except I still hate naps. I woke up feeling super yucky!).
We made a big, ol' breakfast for dinner: sausages, potato cakes, waffles and strawberries, scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, and orange juice. Just as we were getting it all put together, John and Cathy showed up. They were driving through after helping get their kids settled at BYU-Idaho for college.
We had a really fun visit with them, just sitting around the family room laughing and talking. It was great to see them. My knees felt much better by the evening. Greg made a big batch of chocolate chip cookies and we all ate way too many. It was a lovely, relaxing Sunday to spend with family.
