June 26, 2017

Greg and I have been married for 18 years!!  I was 19 years old when we met.  I had spent a whole lifetime without him.  And now I've spent a lifetime with him.  We were sad to be apart for this special day, but Greg's at home accomplishing a long list of tasks while we are gone.  I'm so proud of him for being so productive.  He's also eating his perfect calories and exercising every day.  Good boy.  I love him more and more every day.  When I hear his voice on the phone, my heart skips a beat.  I miss him and I'm so thankful he chose me.
Joni, Rindi, Mom, and Stalee

Stalee and I got up and went running this morning.  We were happy to be together a few times before our big marathon in October.  After our run, we met up with Joni and Mom and walked another three miles.  I was tired when we were done.

I fed the kids and made a grocery run and got us to the pool and managed to have fun the whole day.  We were super excited for our activity for family home evening.  The girls and I had worked so hard to make an entire Relative Race for the family.  Julia used it for one of her Young Women's projects.  She researched ancestors and we made a whole relay race based on their lives.  Then we all learned more about the four relatives Julia had chosen.  It was so much fun (and a lot of work).  Then we had Hostess treats, just like when we were young and dad would bring home twinkies, ding dongs, and fruit pies.  It was great.
This was part of the Relative Race.  Julia did such a great job making it!

So far, everyone is having a great time and we are all so happy to be together!!
