Greg and I both got up early to do our exercising.  I ran a lovely 6 miles around the golf course.  I was alone...somehow it just keeps not working out with my group.  But I'm learning to love running alone.  I crank up my music and let my feet set the pace.  I listened to a lot of slow, beautiful music today, the kind of music that would be background music for life...if life had background music!  It filled my soul to hear that music, to feel my legs pumping hard, to see the sun rising up over the mountains, and to look out over the glistening grass of the golf course.  I was so happy to be running.

We decided to take the boat out as soon as Greg got home form work.  We had such a fun afternoon and evening out on the lake.  We all surfed a bunch, and then all of the kids rode the knee board.  Even Owen and Austin got out on the knee board.  It was so pretty to see the sunset on the water.  It was super hot today, so the kids were eager to jump in and play in the water.  The water was super warm.  It was an awesome night!  I took a bunch of turns driving the boat, trying to get better at it.  Then when the whole night was over, I went up and got the trailer and backed it down the busy ramp!  I did a perfect job.  We were all so proud! Ha!!

We made a pit stop at In N Out for a late night dinner before heading home to put some tired kiddos into bed.  Greg and I both regretted eating so much, but it was a special treat to end a fantastic day!

The only bad news is that Lance dozed off on the boat, so now I am sitting in bed at 11:00 p.m. and he is wide awake next to me.  And I'm TIRED!  I probably surfed ten times, not to mention running over six miles this morning.  What a day!!  I LOVED IT!

Mommy and Lance...Lance still isn't sure if he loves the boat!  But at least he's cute. :)
