The girls and I left about lunch time to go shopping with Suzette and her girls. I left Miles home tending the boys (they were all on the couch eating their lunch and watching The Lego Batman Movie). I knew that Greg would be home shortly. So off we went. By the time we were getting our food at Cafe Rio, Greg called to let me know he was headed home. This was the first time I was able to get a hold of him to tell him of our plans. He was SO kind about it all. He told us to have so much fun, and then he went home and put Lance to nap and watched the boys. The girls and I had a great time shopping. It was such a fun day. I loved spending time with Maddy before she leaves on her mission to Chile. I am so proud of her.
Greg ordered tons of pizza from Pizza Factory, so we stopped and picked it up on our way home. Our nephew, Dylan, and his wife, Cassidy, came down from BYU for the weekend and they showed up about dinner time. We all ate and visited and Dylan managed to get the boys really wild!! But then we headed out to the pool. Greg was so excited because he got his new GOPRO drone and he was testing it out while we swam. Then he came inside and made the cutest little video. We are all excited to take the drone to Lake Powell!
Suzette took the kids to Swig for some drinks and cookies and we all ended up staying up way too late! It was well after midnight by the time I crawled into my bed. I was super worried about my long run in the morning, but it was such a special treat to spend time with family. It was a great day!
