Park City!! We have been looking forward to this for a year! The kids and I had worked really hard to get all packed and ready. And today was the day. We loaded up into the Escalade, bid farewell to Suzette and family, kissed Greg goodbye, and got on our way. Everyone was super excited.
We made it in great time, and actually we were the first ones to the hotel. We checked into our room, with the help of a SUPER friendly bellhop who may or may not have been flirting with me?!? It was so fun to unpack and settle in for a great week. The rooms were so nice and big! It was a great start. When everyone started showing up, the fun began. We all met down at our field (really just the base of the ski resort) and had our first family night. The kids played and the adults visited and it was super fun.
I couldn't quite get my kids into bed in time, so I missed out on the adult gathering in mom and dad's room, but I felt fine. I was determined to make this the best Park City yet. And part of that meant that I had to be able to do the trip without Greg. We were super excited about the beautiful weather, the hours and hours with cousins and family, Lagoon, and the Alpine slides. It's going to be a great week!
