Today was a big day for the middle school PTA!! We had a big after-school party, complete with food trucks and bounce houses and a DJ. We sold tickets and handed out sodas and watched as the kids had lots of fun. I'm grateful for all of those who helped. So many women gave of their time. This is an awesome community. We made a lot of money, and everyone had fun.
Greg and I went on a fun date for dinner at Casa Dona Maria. I love their chips and salsa. We were hungry and we ate a lot of it as we talked. It was great. We grabbed milk shakes at Larsen's Frostop before heading home.
Emma wanted to watch Wonder Woman and she decided to invite Grandma over to watch it, too. Mom came over and helped make her famous caramel popcorn. They were all settled down, just starting the movie, when Greg and I came home. I love Wonder Woman. So I watched it with them. It was so much fun.
When it was over, I walked Mom out to her car. I felt super emotional to send her off on her own. I love her more than ever. She promised she would be okay, and I know she will be. It's just hard to handle all the emotions. I'm so glad she came, and I'm so glad we had fun.
It's been a great day. We are so blessed to have beautiful weather, beautiful friends, and a beautiful family. :)
