Today was a great day!

Stalee's family got into town last night.  We are all so nervous and excited for the marathon.  Stalee and I went this morning to pick up our packets.  This makes it really real!!  I wish I could have gone with them to the Thunder Junction park, but today was the parent picnic at the elementary school.  I picked up Jimmy John's sandwiches and headed to the school.
Picking up our packets!  Rindi and Stalee!!

Austin and Owen and Lance and I ate a fun picnic at the school while we watched the egg drop competition.  Austin and Owen's eggs both got smashed to smithereens, but it was really fun.  I am just blown away by the fact that the school raised $18,000.  Blown away!

We all went together to Emma's game at Hurricane.  Emma played an AMAZING game and we all cheered and screamed.  Mom, and Stalee and Clint (and their girls) were there, too.  It was so fun to watch her play so well.  They won, of course.

Greg picked up In N Out for the kids (they were so excited!) and brought it home for them.  I just stood in the kitchen, confused about what to eat.  I finally made myself a bowl of pasta and ate the leftover salmon in the fridge.  My nerves and emotions were a bit out of control.

Finally Greg took the girls over to my mom's house for a sleepover and Stalee and Clint came to our house to sleep.  Stalee and I did our best to get ready, but we still went to bed way too late, and were way too nervous.  Greg was so sweet.  He went and reserved parking spaces for us at his office.

I don't know how tomorrow will go.  I'm not trained at all how I want to be trained.  But I decided that life is far too precious to waste this chance.  If nothing else, it will be a beautiful walk down a beautiful road on a beautiful morning.  I'm super excited!!
