I feel like I worked the entire day. I cleaned and washed and grocery shopped. I bought so many groceries that the I even shocked the grocery store workers. They brought me a second cart. And asked me if I was stocking up for the month. I just smiled and said, "Yes." Really, that was just what it looks like when you put off your weekly grocery shopping for a few extra days. It's a big deal to restock the house. For the
week.
And then I prepared dinner while the kids played in the backyard. I love opening my kitchen window and listening to them play while I work in the kitchen. This is the most beautiful time of year in St. George. The days are endlessly glorious!! Greg cooked hamburgers on the grill while I got everything else ready. Everything tasted so delicious. We ate slowly and enjoyed being together as a family.
Finally Emma took Miles to basketball practice (yay for another driver!!) while I got everything ready for pumpkin carving. We sat out under the lights on the back patio, Halloween music playing on the speakers, a light breeze blowing, and carved to our heart's content. It was super fun to make the exact face that Owen wanted, and to try to make Lance's look like a ghost. He was so happy to see we had Jack O' Lanterns. I loved helping my little boys light the candles inside their pumpkins, and watching their little faces light up with joy. It was a splendid night at our house.

| This year I let Austin use the knife all by himself. He did a really cute job! |

| All the kids minus Miles--he was at basketball practice. I love this bunch! |
