May 3, 2017

I left everyone home and met Greg at Owen's baseball game.  I took a covered plate of chicken and rice and cooked carrots for Greg's dinner.  It was so fun to watch Owen.  We were in charge of the treat so Greg stopped at the store between work and the game and picked up ice cream sandwiches for the team.  I brought a cooler and they somehow survived the heat.  We sat in the shade and enjoyed the company of our neighbors and friends.

Emma was leaving for BYU the next day, so it was packing/crisis mode once I got home.  It was stressful and confusing trying to get her ready to go.  I think the emotions were high for both of us anyway, but we made it through and I got her into bed.

Greg was waiting in the hot tub.  I went out and sat with him, looking up at the stars as we talked all about the goings on at his clinic.  Once again, we were in bed a little bit late, and I felt the exhaustion mounting.  This is a never-ending merry-go-round at our house.  I'm too tired.
