I slept in and only got up in time to say goodbye to Garr and Lill. I had hardly slept all night. My back is getting so bad in the night. I just don't know. It freezes up and cramps up all night. It hurts so much.
This is the last straw. I started calling doctors and making appointments and finally found a physical therapist at the Fit Physical Therapy office connected to the Summit who could get me in today. I was SO thankful.
I went in for my appointment and was so grateful. He was young and strong and immediately started working on me. He pushed and pulled and massages and worked. By the time I left, I was much looser and feeling a LOT better. He said I have a really sore S.I. joint. And that joint has some dysfunction. I really liked him and the way he worked. I made a return appointment and went home with lots of stretches and exercises to do.
I hurried home and made lunch for everyone. Then I took Julia to her orthodontist appointment, came home and watched a show with the girls, took Emma to her Driver's Ed Final (she passed!), and hurried home to get Julia ready for basketball practice, which started back up this week.
Greg and I rode together to take Julia. We went in his lovely new car. We stopped at The Honolulu Grill to pick up some dinner for the family and headed home. We ate and saved some for Julia and then went back together to pick her up. It was like a mini date to ride in the car alone together. :)
I'm feeling a good deal of stress about my running situation. I MUST get back on track so that I will be trained and ready for the marathon. I've worked so hard for this. I've spent so many hours and gotten up so many mornings. This is a big goal for Stalee and me. I really hope we make it to the finish line. Her calf has been hurting and I told her we will make it even if we have to crawl across that finish line. :)
